- Drivers Age: Minimum 21 years old
- Drivers license: International or national held at least 12 months
- Rental time: Minimum one day (24 hours)
- Vehicles for hire are in good condition and all customers have the obligation to return the vehicle in a similar condition.
- In the case, we do not have the availability of the vehicle you have booked we will replace it with a similar or an upgraded vehicle.
- After hrs Pick up & Drop Off fee between 00:00am & 8:00am: Santorini Airport 25€, Port 20€
- Insurance: All vehicles have third-party insurance therefore in case of an accident caused by the customer, it is the customer that has the obligation to reimburse required repairs. This means in case of damage or a crash with another vehicle and it is your fault, we the rental company cover the damage of the other vehicle and you must pay the repair for our vehicle.
- There is no insurance coverage if the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- The customer is obliged to keep the interior of the car clean and in a similar condition upon pick up. If the car suffers any stains such as food coffee etc. a fee will be charged for the restoration of the vehicle.
- Gasoline consumption is paid by the customer, and are required to return the car with similar fuel levels. Please bear in mind that if you return the vehicle with more gasoline than when you picked it up, we are unable to return the cost of this excess.
- During the rental period the customer is responsible for all traffic fines and parking tickets. And in case of removal of plates caused by violating Greek Laws the customer is obliged to pay all relevant expenses.
- If the customer wants to prolong the rental period of the vehicle he has to contact the lessor within 24 hrs before the expiration of the initial rental period and pay for the additional rental period.
- In case of loss or damage of vehicles key, the customer is obliged to pay for the repair or replacement of keys depending on vehicle type.
- Extra Insurance CDW (Collision Damage Waiver). We also provide the option for CDW insurance, so for example for an added 20€ / day in case of an accident you will only pay up to the first 2000€ the rest is covered by us. Please consult us for the different options.
- Extra Insurance CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) for bikes and ATVs, for groups A,B,C is 7€ per day. For Group D is 10€ per day. Collision Damage Waiver is an optional service that, if accepted, reduces your financial liability for damage to the vehicle in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
- Extra Insurance CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) for Cars, for groups A, is 15€, for group B is 18€ and for Group C is 20€ per day. Collision Damage Waiver is an optional service that, if accepted, reduces your financial liability for damage to the vehicle in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
- At Blue Island Rental we reserve the right to cancel your booking 30 days before your pick-up date for your rental. This is only due to extreme circumstances such as unavailable vehicles due to vehicle accidents with the previous rental.
